It later battled Scorbunny again, only to be defeated when it evolved into a Raboot. It managed to defeat Goh's Scorbunny, but was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt. In Kicking It from Here Into Tomorrow!, Jessie used Chewtle to battle Ash and Goh after encountering them at the entrance to their secret base in Vermilion City. Team Rocket decided to take it, hoping that Chewtle would one day evolve into a Drednaw capable of Gigantamaxing.
